Cuba is seeking retail investments and creating conducive conditions for them, and Saigon Co.op should open a supermarket in the country and trade with it, a visiting senior Cuban official has said.
Saigon Co.op''s supermarket systems will gift more than one million pieces of premium French kitchenware to customers under its programme to exchange gifts for stamps from March 21 to August 21.
The Saigon Commercial Co-operative Union, or Saigon Co .op, which runs
supermarket chains, has been conferred the Independence Order, second
class, for its contribution to economic development on the occasion of
its 25th anniversary.
Saigon Co.op is set to open its first ever mall with a supermarket, food
court, entertainment areas with games, bowling, and cinemas, and
fashion and cosmetic stores.
